Stories and More
Mathew Green
Over the summer of 2021, we had the opportunity to learn from experts at the First Step Recovery Center. This facility is an inpatient rehabilitation center for people who are interested in not only getting but also remaining sober. While we were there, we met Mathew Green, who shared a poem about his experiences with drugs. As we listened, we knew Mathew's talent needed to be shared. We helped him record his poems and layered beats with his poems to make rap songs. Mathew was able to turn his memories into music, and together, we got his songs uploaded on Spotify. Listen to them here!
A special thank you to Robert Shin, who made the beats for both of these songs.
